The Week in Review

If you are anything like me, trying to remember what I’ve done from one day to the next can be an arduous mental exercise. In an effort to remain in step with living a gratitude filled life, I decided I needed to remind myself of the goodness that surrounds me all time. There is no better way for me to do that than to grab my phone and catch a snapshot in the moment.

Last week I had the wonderful honor to photograph a fellow business woman. She is a beautiful person inside and out, and I enjoyed getting to know her. I am thankful I have the opportunity to watch other women pursue their dreams.

I started a new workout regime… kickboxing, a la circuit training style. And it is kicking my butt…. and I’m thankful I can walk. 🙂

These are absolutely the V-E-R-Y best peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies I have ever had! And better yet…. gluten free, dairy free, egg free, no oil and no white sugar! The secret ingredient will blow your mind. These are kid tested and mother approved! Yum Yum! *happy dance!* I’m thankful for Pinterest (but who isn’t, really?) for leading me to this recipe.

I came home and saw a love note left just for me! *heart goes pitter patter*. Grateful doesn’t begin to express just how thankful I am for him.

I got to observe this little guy having fun with his grandpa hoppin’ on all the toys. He was in heaven… and so was I. I am thankful for the sweet innocence of toddlers.

… and I saw a lot of creative, illustrative portrait inspiration all around. I’m grateful my eyes continue to see new ways to integrate an artful quality to my work.

What’s one thing you are grateful for that happens in the day-to-day of your life?
